Breast reduction surgery can alleviate pain
Plastic surgeon Dr. Phil Haeck and his patient were featured in a segment on KING-5’s New Day Northwest on Wednesday, May 10. They talked about breast reduction surgery and the main reason many women choose to have it done: pain.
Dr. Haeck shared that women with a large chest size often have chronic pain in their back, shoulders, and neck. Most have tried chiropractors, physical therapy, massage, and over-the-counter pain medications to manage their symptoms with limited results. Most insurance companies now cover the outpatient procedure for patients who qualify.
Dr. Haeck’s patient talked about having migraine headaches for years due to constant neck pain before finally deciding to move forward with the surgery with Dr. Haeck. She added that her surgery and recovery were quick and easy and that her migraines are gone.
