We are excited to welcome Brigid to the Optum Plastic Surgery team! Brigid is an experienced aesthetic nurse who strives to create a safe and calm environment for her patients. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals with subtle enhancements through injectables and non-surgical procedures while ensuring they maintain their natural beauty. Brigid believes that aesthetic procedures can serve as an important part of an individual’s self-care practice. She is focused on patient education and developing realistic individualized treatment plans for optimal outcomes. She is always gratified to witness the restoration and improvement of her patients’ self-confidence through aesthetics. She has received instruction from numerous nationally-recognized trainers within the aesthetic industry and continues to attend training and learning events as part of her practice to fine-tune her skills and techniques. She is also a member of ISPAN, The International Society Of Plastic And Aesthetic Nurses. Brigid graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Portland’s nursing school in 2010. Prior to her work in the aesthetic world, she provided over a decade of nursing services in high-risk obstetrics, labor and delivery, and maternal newborn settings. In this role, Brigid sharpened her assessment skills, developed critical thinking, and implemented quick interventions to urgent and emergent situations. She has also gained experience in preoperative, operative, and postoperative care within the field of plastic surgery working for a number of plastic surgery centers in the greater Seattle area. In 2019, Brigid was nominated for her compassionate care by The Daisy Foundation, an international recognition program for extraordinary nurses. A Seattle native, Brigid appreciates the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. When she is not in the clinic, she can be found enjoying nature, playing the piano and guitar, and spending time with her family.
