As our doors open and we welcome patients back to the practice, we want you to know that your safety and health are our top priority. Here’s what you can expect from our enhanced safety measures.
Enhanced Safety Measures
Patient appointments will be thoughtfully spaced to reduce the number of people in our office and to effectively eliminate wait times.
You will be greeted by a staff member, who will screen all patients and staff who enter our office.
Your temperature will be taken with our no-touch thermometer and you will be given a mask to wear throughout your visit. Surgeons and staff will also be wearing masks.
We can’t wait to see you again, but we’ll still maintain social distancing. We have modified the flow of our spaces with this in mind.
Our visitor policy has been updated, so that one caregiver may accompany a patient with cognitive or physical limitations or disabilities or a patient who is a minor. We are asking that all other visitors remain at home or in their car.
We’ve enhanced our already-stringent sanitation protocol to ensure a thorough and continually disinfected and pristine environment.
Surgical patients will be required to receive a pre-operative COVID test prior to their surgery date.

Due to the decreased workload at Optum Plastic Surgery, our amazing staff have shifted their roles to use their skills during this COVID crisis. They have been tirelessly using their time and talent at our COVID triage call centers, respiratory clinics and drive-through testing centers.
