What is a facial feminization surgery?

Facial feminization surgery (FFS) is a combination of facial plastic surgery techniques, from craniofacial bone surgery to rhinoplasty to soft tissue alterations to completely changing the masculine face into a feminine one. The most common procedures within FFS are forehead bone reduction (cutting and moving the skull backwards) with simultaneous orbital (eye socket) reshaping and browlift, feminizing rhinoplasty, jaw and chin contouring, genioplasty (narrowing and shifting the chin), facial fat grafting, tracheal
shave and lip lift.
